The Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter is suitable for non-contact measurement of liquid flow. Simply install the sensor on the outer wall of the pipeline to complete the flow measurement. The instrument is small in size, making it convenient to carry whilst retaining accuracy. It utilises the time-transit measurement principle where the signal transmitted by one flow meter transducer passes through the medium in the pipe and is received by the other flow meter transducer. The second transducer then transmits the signal received by the first transducer back. The influence of the flow rate of the medium causes a time difference, allowing the flow value Q to be calculated.
