    Pressure Retaining Valve - Overview

This valve works to keep the pressure at the valve inlet constant at all times ensuring problem-free operation and eliminating the risk of overload. It is made of fully molded, high-grade plastic, making this the obvious choice for any piping system.  It contains the latest in pressure-regulating technology, these valves are compact and easy to install and can be configured to either reduce or retain the pressure. The innovative cartridge design minimises maintenance.

    Pressure Retaining Valve - Features

    • Constant pressure for safety
    • Modular design for easy to installation
    • Fully moulded plastic bodies for consistent quality
    • Ideal for confined spaces
    • Minimal maintenance

    Pressure Retaining Valve - Overview

The V86 Pressure Retaining Valve works to keep the pressure at the valve inlet constant at all times, ensuring problem-free operation of the system as a whole. It is made for pipes of larger dimensions. The V86 pressure retaining valve serves to keep the working or system-related pressures constant, to balance out pressure pulsation and to reduce pressure peaks in chemical process systems. If the inlet pressure rises above the set value, the pressurised valve piston is lifted against the spring resistance. As a result, the valve opens and the pressure in the outlet pipe is reduced. The valve closes as soon as the inlet pressure sinks below the pre-set spring tension. For neutral and aggressive media with a small number of particles or solids. The chemical resistance depends on the selected valve material.

    Pressure Retaining Valve - Features

    • No auxiliary energy required
    • The working pressure is set with an adjusting screw and locked with a locking nut
    • Valves can also be adjusted under working pressure
    • Minimal maintenance and can be installed in any position
    • All parts in contact with medium made of highly resistant plastics
    • Large form of the housing allows good flow values
