    This full-function portable ultrasonic flow meter enables the verification of flow readings of other meters and is great for logging flow system data values over an extended period. The innovative design includes matched precision transducers and signal processing circuitry to accurately measure the flow of most liquids over a wide range of velocities. Clamp-on transducers create no wear, zero pressure loss, and do not require process interruptions to install them since they are attached to the outside of the pipe.     Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter Kit - Overview

    The Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter is suitable for non-contact measurement of liquid flow. Simply install the sensor on the outer wall of the pipeline to complete the flow measurement. The instrument is small in size, making it convenient to carry whilst retaining accuracy. It utilises the time-transit measurement principle where the signal transmitted by one flow meter transducer passes through the medium in the pipe and is received by the other flow meter transducer. The second transducer then transmits the signal received by the first transducer back. The influence of the flow rate of the medium causes a time difference, allowing the flow value Q to be calculated.

    The Ultrasonic Portaflow range brings simplicity to non-invasive measurement of liquid flow. The 'Clamp-On' concept makes the installation of the sensors in running systems possible as the pipe does not have to be opened.  It offers quick and accurate flow measurements. It has an easy-to-follow menu and a simple setup. They are compact, rugged and reliable. The Portaflow range is designed to provide sustained performance in industrial environments. Suitable for temporary or semi-stationary use. The Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeters are compatible with almost all pipe types including PVDF-ABS, PVC, PP, PE, PB-Instaflex, iron and steel pipes. Measurements can be viewed directly on-site with the large graphic display or logged and exported to a PC for further analysis (PF330 V2 (HM) versions). One 4-20 mA output and three individually configurable pulse outputs enable easy integration into higher-level systems. Also available is the GF PF330 V2 Heat Meter (HM) which is equipped with Pt100 temperature sensors to calculate the energy of a heat exchanging system enabling it to work as a heat meter/energy meter/BTU meter.
