    Flange Ultrasonic Level Meter - Overview

    The Flange Ultrasonic Level Meter utilises the Time-of-Flight principle. The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses and the surface of the media reflects the signal back and the sensor detects it again. The time of flight of the reflected ultrasonic signal is directly proportional to the distance travelled. With the known tank geometry, the level can be calculated. It requires virtually no maintenance as it makes no contact with any mediums. It is also not affected by dielectric constant value, humidity or density. It also has a vibrating sensor diaphragm which eliminates build-up and cleans the meter.     Platon Plastic Tube VA Meter - Overview

    The Platon GR/GRV flowmeters are moulded plastic tube variable area meters with ball floats. The precision moulded tapered tube has guides to stabilise the float, allowing easy flow reading against the clear 50mm long scale. Units are available calibrated for air or water flows.     This system is used for high precision level measurement, volume calculation, and hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure measurement.

    This can be installed pneumatically or hydrostatically. Pneumatically, the sensors measure the counter-pressure produced by an air compressor, thus having no direct contact with the water. Hydrostatically the sensor comes into direct contact with the water.
