Its temperature class is t50 and it exceeds class d requirements to fourth decimal accuracy. It offers pre- or post-paid flexibility.     Compact Tuning Fork Level Switch - Overview

    This product is a liquid-level switch based on vibrating short tuning fork technology. A piezoelectric crystal is used to vibrate the tuning fork at its natural frequency. When used for low-level alarm purposes, the liquid in the container drains downward through the tuning fork, causing a change in natural frequency. This is detected by the electronic components and switches the output state. When used for high-level alarm purposes, the liquid in the container rises and makes contact with the tuning fork which changes the vibrating frequency, switching the output state. This compact design is made from stainless steel, making it a durable instrument suitable for a variety of liquid applications including viscous liquids, aerated liquids, and grout. The switches are threaded into piping or storage tanks, or installed in food industry facilities through sanitary fittings.
