Ultrasonic Level Meters

Ultrasonic level meters measure the level of liquids, solids, or slurries by transmitting ultrasonic sound waves from a transducer to the material’s surface. The device calculates the time it takes for the waves to return, determining the distance to the surface and allowing for precise level measurement.

  • Ultrasonic Liquid Level Transmitters | EasyTREK SP–300

Ultrasonic Liquid Level Transmitters  - Overview

These high-performance level transmitters measure the level of sump tanks or open-channel flows. These are installed on the tank's roof or above the liquid's surface. The transmitter produces an output signal (analogue or HART® digital) proportional to the liquid level. It has an integrated blind transmitter and is readable and programmable remotely through HART® protocol. There are two mounting options: a 1½" and a 2" process connection. Its 1" threaded neck facilitates suspending it above the medium, a typical water/wastewater application.

  • Flange Ultrasonic Level Meter | Flange-RWLM

Flange Ultrasonic Level Meter - Overview

The Flange Ultrasonic Level Meter utilises the Time-of-Flight principle. The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses and the surface of the media reflects the signal back and the sensor detects it again. The time of flight of the reflected ultrasonic signal is directly proportional to the distance travelled. With the known tank geometry, the level can be calculated. It requires virtually no maintenance as it makes no contact with any mediums. It is also not affected by dielectric constant value, humidity or density. It also has a vibrating sensor diaphragm which eliminates build-up and cleans the meter. Suitable for continuous, non-contact and maintenance-free level measurement of fluids, pastes, sludges and powdery to coarse bulk materials.

    • Resolution: 3mm or 0.1%
    • Display: LCD Display
    • Analog Output: Two Wires 4-20mA/250Ω Load
    • Non-contact, virtually maintenance-free measurement
    • Measurement unaffected by media
    • Calibrate without filling or discharging
    • Self-cleaning effect
  • Ultrasonic Level Transmitter | RWLM

    Ultrasonic Level Transmitter - Overview

This non-contact ultrasonic level transmitter ensures virtually maintenance-free measurement. The measurement is unaffected by media properties such as dc value or density and can be calibrated without filling or discharging. It is also self-cleaning due to its vibrating sensor diaphragm. The sensor pulses a signal in the direction of the product surface. The signal is then reflected back and received by the sensor which converts it into a reading of the level of the liquid or solid level. Applications include storage tanks, chutes, pools, wells, drains, metering boxes, granaries etc.

    Ultrasonic Level Transmitters | GF2260

This rugged, high-performance ultrasonic level measurement transmitter, has transducer and processing electronics and a display/ programming unit incorporated in one instrument. It uses established high-end pulse echo transducers, which provide narrow beam angles and reliable measurement ranges up to a distance of 15 meters. For small, stand-alone tanks the transmitter provides a simple 2-wire 4 to 20 mA output, with additional power relay contacts. It can be programmed using push buttons and has a large, graphic display. For large and/or multiple tank applications, versions with HART interface are recommended, communicating directly with a panel mount controller or PLC. The HART protocol can easily be used for programming these versions.
