This is suitable for visual checks on the flow, presence, colour and condition of a liquid. Thanks to the plain spout cast body, it can be used where there is intermittent flow, partially filled pipes or entrained air.  A special version made with borosilicate glass is available for use with steam and condensate, ensuring good long-term visibility.
