  • SS High Performance Paddlewheel Flow Sensor | Signet 2540

SS High Performance Paddlewheel Flow Sensor - Overview

This Stainless Steel Paddlewheel Flow Sensor is both strong and corrosion-resistant. It is suitable for use in liquid applications with low-velocity measurements. Unique internal circuitry eliminates the need for magnets in the process fluid, enabling flow measurement of 0.1 to 6 m/s while maintaining the advantages of insertion sensor design. Ultraflon 500C bearings and a Tungsten Carbide pin provide exceptional wear resistance. The Signet 2540 offers field replaceable electronics and transient voltage suppression (TVS) to provide greater immunity to large voltage disturbances (i.e. lightning) sometimes encountered in field wiring. Sensors can be installed in DN40 to DN600 pipes using the 1½ in. or ISO 7/1-R 1.5 threaded process connection.
The sensors are also offered in a hot-tap configuration with a bleed valve service without process shutdown in pipes up to DN900 (36 in.). Both styles of sensors must be used in full pipes. They can be used in low-pressure systems.

  • Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter | GF PF220/330 V2

    Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter - Overview

The Ultrasonic Portaflow range brings simplicity to non-invasive measurement of liquid flow. The 'Clamp-On' concept makes the installation of the sensors in running systems possible as the pipe does not have to be opened.  It offers quick and accurate flow measurements. It has an easy-to-follow menu and a simple setup. They are compact, rugged and reliable. The Portaflow range is designed to provide sustained performance in industrial environments. Suitable for temporary or semi-stationary use. The Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeters are compatible with almost all pipe types including PVDF-ABS, PVC, PP, PE, PB-Instaflex, iron and steel pipes. Measurements can be viewed directly on-site with the large graphic display or logged and exported to a PC for further analysis (PF330 V2 (HM) versions). One 4-20 mA output and three individually configurable pulse outputs enable easy integration into higher-level systems. Also available is the GF PF330 V2 Heat Meter (HM) which is equipped with Pt100 temperature sensors to calculate the energy of a heat exchanging system enabling it to work as a heat meter/energy meter/BTU meter.

    Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter - Features

    • Large, easy-to-read graphic display with backlighting
    • Easy to install
    • 'Clamp-On' design
    • Datalogger option (up to 100 million data points PF330)
    • USB port for easy data export (PF330)
    • Analogue, pulse & alarm outputs
    • Battery lifetime up to 14 hours
    • Compatible with almost all pipe types

  • Flow Sensors | MFAT

    Flow Sensors - Overview

Used in water management, leak detection, and irrigation. These ultrasonic sensors measure the flow velocity of water and calculate the volume and flow information. The average water flow is measured by emitting and receiving ultrasonic signals. The more ultrasonic paths one uses, the higher the system accuracy.

Type A for filled or partially filled pipes with a 0.75–35 m diameter.

Type B for open channels & filled or partially filled pipes with a 0.75–35m diameter.

Type C for filled or partially filled pipes with a 0.20 – 35 m diameter.

Type K sensors for applications in open channels

Type G externally mounted clamp-on sensors

    Flow Sensors - Features

    • Wide range of open channel widths of up to 130 meters
    • Wide range of pipe diameters of up to 52 meters
    • Up to 20 paths per measurement section

  • Ultrasonic Flow Transmitter | RISONIC Modular

    Ultrasonic Flow Transmitter - Overview

The RISONIC modular system consists of three components:

    • The Controller: Integrated data logger, limited value monitoring, volume counter, Individually galvanically isolated I/O's, SMS alarm via external GSM / GPRS modem
    • Up to five RISONIC Ultrasonic Transit Time Modules: prepare and process the sensor signals, which then get sent to the controller
    • Various ultrasonic sensors that are mounted internally or externally, or non-invasively to the outside of the pipe

This modular measurement system for hydroengineering applications was developed for ultrasonic flow measurements in open channels and filled and partially filled pipes. The modular design makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications, whether for turbine and pump efficiency measurements, penstock leak detection, or flow measurements in water supplies or irrigation systems. The system is user-friendly and intuitive, so it requires minimal training. It can be remotely serviced with a variety of diagnostic functions to pinpoint malfunctions quickly, reducing downtimes. Suitable for use in hydropower plants, water supplies, irrigation systems, and water cooling circuits.
