    Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter - Overview

    The Ultrasonic Portaflow range brings simplicity to non-invasive measurement of liquid flow. The 'Clamp-On' concept makes the installation of the sensors in running systems possible as the pipe does not have to be opened.  It offers quick and accurate flow measurements. It has an easy-to-follow menu and a simple setup. They are compact, rugged and reliable. The Portaflow range is designed to provide sustained performance in industrial environments. Suitable for temporary or semi-stationary use. The Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeters are compatible with almost all pipe types including PVDF-ABS, PVC, PP, PE, PB-Instaflex, iron and steel pipes. Measurements can be viewed directly on-site with the large graphic display or logged and exported to a PC for further analysis (PF330 V2 (HM) versions). One 4-20 mA output and three individually configurable pulse outputs enable easy integration into higher-level systems. Also available is the GF PF330 V2 Heat Meter (HM) which is equipped with Pt100 temperature sensors to calculate the energy of a heat exchanging system enabling it to work as a heat meter/energy meter/BTU meter.

    Ultrasonic Flow Transmitter - Overview

    The RISONIC modular system consists of three components:

    • The Controller: Integrated data logger, limited value monitoring, volume counter, Individually galvanically isolated I/O's, SMS alarm via external GSM / GPRS modem
    • Up to five RISONIC Ultrasonic Transit Time Modules: prepare and process the sensor signals, which then get sent to the controller
    • Various ultrasonic sensors that are mounted internally or externally, or non-invasively to the outside of the pipe

    This modular measurement system for hydroengineering applications was developed for ultrasonic flow measurements in open channels and filled and partially filled pipes. The modular design makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications, whether for turbine and pump efficiency measurements, penstock leak detection, or flow measurements in water supplies or irrigation systems. The system is user-friendly and intuitive, so it requires minimal training. It can be remotely serviced with a variety of diagnostic functions to pinpoint malfunctions quickly, reducing downtimes. Suitable for use in hydropower plants, water supplies, irrigation systems, and water cooling circuits.
