    Butterfly Valve - Overview

The butterfly valve has all-plastic housing which combines quality and durability. Through the use of fibreglass reinforced polypropylene, the valve's weight is greatly reduced. This simplifies not only the installation of the valve but also saves on the storage cost.  The valve can be used reliably in highly corrosive applications and is excellent for use with aggressive media. The system allows the exchange of individual system components at any time - quickly and easily, without much effort.  The maximum nominal pressure is 10 bar on both sides at 20 °C. A further benefit of this is the long life span since the valve is less exposed to wear and tear. Suitable for most applications in industrial water treatment, the chemical process industry, chemical trade, galvanization and in power plants. The valve is modular in design, allowing individual system parts to be exchanged at any time.

    Butterfly Valve - Features

    • High corrosion resistance
    • Low wear and tear: up to 50 % lower operation torque than centric valves
    • Leak-tightness within and without: double, internal axis gasket on both sides
    • On standard versions, the lever is in increments of 5 degrees
    • Stable and Reliable
    • Easy maintenance
    • Long life span
    • Minimal operation torque
    • Can be fitted with an actuator (optional)
    • Lever positioning clearly marked
    • Can be used with electric position indicators (optional)
    • Lower weight than metallic butterfly valves

  • Lug Style Butterfly Valve | 578

Lug Style Butterfly Valve - Overview

The Lug style butterfly valve has all-plastic housing which combines quality and durability. Through the use of fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene, the valve's weight is greatly reduced. This simplifies not only the installation of the valve but also saves on the storage cost.  The valve can be used reliably in highly corrosive applications and is excellent for use with aggressive media. The system allows the exchange of individual system components at any time - quickly and easily, without much effort.  Since the actuation torque is strongly dependent on the internal pressure, type 578 is optimally designed in this area. The maximum nominal pressure is 10 bar on both sides at 20 °C. A further benefit of this is the long life span since the valve is less exposed to wear and tear.
