Variable Area Flowmeter 335 Overview

The Variable Area Flowmeter 335 from GF Piping Systems are radially installed, dismountable meters for measuring the flow rate in industrial piping system constructions. The measuring principle is advanced and efficient. The measurement ranges, which are tailored to our customers‘ needs, and the range of materials available for the tubes and screwed fittings, allow the flow meters to be used for a wide range of applications and a great variety of media.

Function
If a medium flows upwards through the vertically mounted measuring tube at a sufficient flow velocity, the float is raised to the point at which a state of equilibrium sets in between the lifting force of the medium and the weight of the float. As the mean flow velocity is proportional to the quantity flowing through per unit of time, this state of equilibrium corresponds to the measurement of the current flow volume.

Ball Valve - Overview

The Ball Valve Pro is an extremely reliable and long-lasting valve. It boasts ergonomically designed lockable levers that enable precise operation. This also protects against the lever being used unintentionally or without permission. It comes with optional LED position feedback to allow for easy position feedback and control of the valve. Another option is the spring return lever ("dead man") which automatically closes the valve by itself after it has been opened. Each valve comes with its own Data-Matrix-Code which simplifies installation, tracking, maintenance, and repair. There is also the option of using either the pneumatic or electric actuator with the valve. The pneumatic actuator is completely made of plastic, is lightweight, and is virtually maintenance-free. It is robust, reliable, and durable even in highly corrosive environments. The electric actuator system is ideal for digitalisation: it makes it easy to identify valve positions and control the system status. It has wireless control and a 360° LED Status display.

Pressure Reducing Valve - Overview

The pressure-reducing valve adjusts itself using the differential pressure to the set working pressure. If the outlet pressure increases or decreases to above/below the desired value, the diaphragm is lifted against the spring resistance or pressed down by the spring resistance by the outlet pressure. The pressure-reducing valve begins to close/open until the state of equilibrium is reached again. This allows outlet pressure to remain constant, regardless of the increasing or decreasing inlet pressure. The V82 Pressure Reducing Valve is made of durable, corrosion-free plastic and contains an actuator that is hermetically sealed against aggressive media in the pipe system. Can be installed in virtually any position. This valve is also available for pipes with bigger dimensions.

The V86 Pressure Retaining Valve works to keep the pressure at the valve inlet constant at all times, ensuring problem-free operation of the system as a whole. It is made for pipes of larger dimensions. The V86 pressure retaining valve serves to keep the working or system-related pressures constant, to balance out pressure pulsation and to reduce pressure peaks in chemical process systems. If the inlet pressure rises above the set value, the pressurised valve piston is lifted against the spring resistance. As a result, the valve opens and the pressure in the outlet pipe is reduced. The valve closes as soon as the inlet pressure sinks below the pre-set spring tension. For neutral and aggressive media with a small number of particles or solids. The chemical resistance depends on the selected valve material.
